Dec 12, 2019

Manisha Thakor has been working in the financial services industry for 25 years. She has her MBA from Harvard Business School and did her undergrad at Wellesley College with a year abroad at Oxford.  She started on the institutional side as an analyst, portfolio manager, and client relations executive and build-out and ran a $6 billion separately managed account business. But in 2009 shifted her focus to individuals. Today she is the Vice President of Financial Education at Brighton Jones and the founder of Money Zen a female-centric investment advisory firm. She also has two books, On my own two feet, and get financially naked, and hosts a podcast called the True Wellth Podcast.  She is visiting faculty at both The Omega Institute and IIN and sits on the board for The National Endowment for Financial Education and is a founding member of the Portland-based women’s charitable giving group 99 girlfriends.
